Representatives from different social media platforms and social media experts alike have made appearances on the Texas State University campus to discuss the importance of social media and how it can be utilized effectively in personal branding as well as in a future career.

Featured speakers for Texas State Mass Comm Week have included Annie Werner, the Arts Evangelist from the blogging platform Tumblr, Michael Bepko, the social media manager for the grocery chain Whole Foods, and Courtney Doman from Spredfast, the enterprise social media management software.

In addition to the featured speakers from the sponsored Mass Comm Week panels, other representatives have shared their insight on the ins-and-outs as well as the importance of social media with members of the Social Media Club of Texas State.

With this impressive repertoire of social media experts that have come to our campus, we are very optimistic to see what speakers the Social Media Club will invite to come to Texas State University in future semesters.
